Pasta’s Trattoria - Pleasanton

The Scoop: This beloved Pleasanton spot has served homestyle Italian cuisine, steaks, seafood, and cocktails for over 20 years. Owners Rick Ring and Chef Jose Garcia have created a warm, family-style atmosphere that shines in both the food and service.

On the Plate: The menu mixes Italian classics like Bolognese, Wagyu Meatballs, and Chicken Parm with modern dishes such as Braised Short Rib Ravioli, Seared Ahi Tuna, and fresh lobster.

In Your Glass: The bar offers creative cocktails and a thoughtfully curated wine list featuring Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles, and international selections at fair prices.

Insider Tip: Don’t miss Rick’s monthly wine dinner, an unforgettable five-course meal paired with wines from premier vineyards like Caymus and Duckhorn. Hosted by Rick and the winemaker, this event is a local favorite—reserve early!

Deacon Dave - a Holiday Tradition!

Livermore’s cherished “Deacon Dave,” David Rezendes, has been lighting up the community—literally—for over 40 years with his incredible Christmas light displays. A fourth-generation Livermore resident, Deacon Dave began in 1982 with a humble elf village featuring 2,000 lights. Today, his display has grown to an astonishing 900,000 lights, drawing visitors from the Bay Area and beyond while remaining a deeply rooted local tradition.

Featured in People Magazine and ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight, his display has witnessed 82 marriage proposals and countless smiles. With help from a dedicated team of 20, Deacon Dave continues to inspire joy and pride in Livermore.

Open daily through end of the month, please note display will be open subject to weather

Sunday – Thursday 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm
Friday & Saturday: 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm
